Mission & Vision
Our goal is to create optimal conditions for the healthy development of all children and young people in Carinthia. We support families in their parenting and caregiving roles, ensure preventive and acute child protection, and advocate for equal opportunities. In partnership with all involved stakeholders, we design needs-based, transparent, and effective support services.
Target groups
The services of Department 4 are aimed at families, children, and youth, as well as public and independent organizations, psychosocial professionals, and municipal authorities in Carinthia. The goal is to provide early support to families in challenging situations, to prevent risks to child welfare, and to enable equitable developmental opportunities for children and youth.
