Mission & Vision
We specifically promote sustainable growth and innovation in Styria by networking business, tourism, science, and research. Our goal is to enable excellent research and innovation projects through coordinated regional, federal, and EU funding programs, thereby strengthening regional competitiveness and value creation in the long term.
Target groups
The funding programs of Department 12 are aimed at research and technology institutions (universities, universities of applied sciences, and non-university research institutes) as well as companies of various sizes (SMEs and large enterprises) both domestically and internationally. Consortia must include at least one scientific partner and five independent corporate partners for certain programs such as COMET centers. Project-related co-financing also supports collaborations with other federal states and EU partners.
