Mission & Vision
"My sole endeavor is to ensure in my lifetime that the art of horsemanship, which has become so dear to my heart, gains increasing recognition and understanding." – Anja Beran. The Anja Beran Foundation is committed to preserving and passing on classical horsemanship in its original sense. At the same time, we aim to raise awareness for a respectful coexistence between humans, horses, and nature, and to contribute to animal and environmental protection. Through educational programs, lectures, seminars, and publications, we create platforms for riders and horse enthusiasts to impart professional expertise and to embed values such as mindfulness, harmony, and sustainability.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Anja Beran Foundation are aimed nationwide at individuals and groups from the equestrian sport sector (riders, trainers, riding schools), non-profit organizations and initiatives in animal and nature conservation, as well as event organizers and educational institutions with a focus on classical horsemanship. Projects and events that promote classical dressage training, horse-friendly training methods, and respectful interaction with horses, as well as measures in nature and species conservation, are supported.
