About the funder

The Federal Ministry for Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection (BMASGPK) is a supreme federal authority of the Republic of Austria, headquartered in Vienna. It develops and implements laws, programs, and policies concerning the labor market and occupational safety, social security, health systems, care services, as well as consumer protection. The ministry is divided into several sections, including Section V "European, International and Social Policy Fundamental Issues," and manages national and international political initiatives in the aforementioned areas.

Mission & Vision

The BMASGPK aims to promote social participation, strengthen social justice, and sustainably ensure health and consumer protection in Austria through sound legislation, funding programs, and services. It works closely with regional authorities and social partners to develop efficient and sustainable solutions for current and future challenges.

Target groups

The funding programs of the BMASGPK are aimed at applicants from the public and private sectors – in particular non-profit organizations, associations, companies, and individuals in Austria. Projects and initiatives in the fields of labor, social affairs, health, care, and consumer protection are supported. The goal is to promote innovative and needs-oriented measures that contribute to combating poverty, health promotion, care provision, and the protection of consumers.
