Mission & Vision
Section III – Innovation and Technology of the BMIMI promotes research and innovation policy measures to make Austria future-ready. It is committed to advancing the green and digital transformation through targeted RDI initiatives, strengthening competitiveness and technological sovereignty, and building resilience as well as future skills in business, research, and administration.
Target groups
The funding activities are aimed at university and non-university research institutions, companies in the mobility, logistics, and transport sectors, as well as infrastructure operators, public administration at the federal, state, and municipal levels, the European Commission and international partners, and other stakeholders interested in research, technology, and innovation in the mobility and infrastructure fields.
