Bremer Modernisieren – BreMo GbR

BreMo GbR (Bremer Modernisieren) was commissioned by the Senator for Environment, Climate and Science of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen as an application office to support private building owners in submitting applications for the state funding program "Thermal Insulation in Residential Buildings." The GbR operates contact points in Bremen and Bremerhaven, provides application forms, consultation, and inspections, and forwards the funding applications for approval. The funded measures include exterior and interior insulation, cavity insulation, basement and roof insulation, as well as the installation of highly thermal-insulating windows and hydraulic balancing of heating systems.

BreMo GbR is committed to sustainably reducing energy consumption and CO₂ emissions in the existing residential building stock of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. Through comprehensive consulting, professional application processing, and quality assurance, we aim to empower private property owners to implement efficient thermal insulation measures and thereby make an active contribution to climate protection and resource conservation.

The funding programs managed by BreMo GbR are aimed at private individuals as owners of residential buildings and condominiums in the state of Bremen (Bremen and Bremerhaven). Buildings constructed before January 1, 1995, with up to 12 residential units are eligible for funding. The target group includes all those planning insulation measures on the building or the replacement of windows and who wish to apply for financial grants under the Bremen state funding scheme.
