CVJM Jugendstiftung Esslingen

The CVJM Youth Foundation Esslingen is a legal entity and non-profit foundation, approved in 1998 by the Stuttgart Regional Council. Its goal is to secure children’s and youth work in Esslingen am Neckar in the long term by building an endowment fund. Only the income generated from this capital, in the form of interest and distributions, is used to fund projects. The main focus of funding is the youth center-like facilities of CVJM Esslingen e.V., for which material and personnel costs are subsidized. Additionally, the foundation supports individual events and initiatives for children and young people. The board and foundation advisory council work on a voluntary basis, with annual administrative costs below 1% of the foundation capital. Partnerships exist, among others, with the City of Esslingen, CVJM Esslingen, and the Bürgerstiftung Esslinger Sozialwerk.

"Creating a future for our youth": We create future dreams for children and young people in Esslingen, accompany them on their journey, help them take responsibility for themselves and others, and work together to ensure that young people can develop their strengths regardless of origin or religion. In this way, we actively take responsibility for the future of our city.

The target group of the CVJM Jugendstiftung Esslingen consists of children and young people in Esslingen am Neckar who participate in open programs and group work within the facilities of CVJM Esslingen e.V. Funding is provided for individual projects and events as well as for organizations engaged in youth center-like work, thereby contributing to the personal development and participation of young people.
