Deutsche Hochschulstiftung – Gemeinnützige Stiftung für Studium und Lehre

The Deutsche Hochschulstiftung is a non-profit, public foundation dedicated to the promotion of education, upbringing, research, and science, as well as student support. Founded in 2005 in Hamburg, it supports high school graduates, students, young researchers, and professionals nationwide, as well as research and teaching institutions at European universities. Independent of politics and religion, it provides both ideological and material support through the returns on its endowment and donations. In addition to passive funding, it is actively engaged through its own events and programs and has offered information on university admissions via a trusted legal advisor since 2009. The foundation is a member of the Association of German Foundations (Bundesverband Deutscher Stiftungen).

The mission of the Deutsche Hochschulstiftung is to facilitate young people's access to academic education and to promote the quality of study and teaching in Germany and Europe. It is committed to supporting high school graduates, students, early-career researchers, and educational institutions through financial grants, scholarships, and innovative admission procedures, thereby contributing to equal opportunities and the strengthening of the higher education system.

The funding programs are primarily aimed at German high school graduates and university applicants seeking study places in shortage subjects in Germany or EU member states. In addition, students, young researchers, and professionals as well as universities, institutes, and other educational institutions in Europe benefit from the idealistic and material support provided by the foundation.
