Frankfurter Sportstiftung

Private foundation

About the funder

The Frankfurter Sportstiftung was founded in 1968 and has since supported young, talented, and dedicated athletes from the Frankfurt am Main area. Its primary focus is material support: it covers funding for qualified training, competition travel, and equipment, costs that athletes and their families often cannot bear alone. To date, over 500 Frankfurt athletes across various disciplines – from athletics and swimming to chess and parasports – have been accompanied on their path to national and international success. The foundation finances its work exclusively through donations, regular contributions, and sponsorship letters and operates on a voluntary basis.
