The Gentechnology Foundation – Dr. Georg and Ingeburg Scheel Foundation is a non-profit foundation established in December 2001 by Ingeburg Scheel and recognized as a legal foundation by the supervisory authority of the State of Berlin. It promotes scientific genetic engineering in the field of human medicine by financially supporting research projects aimed at treating diseases previously considered incurable, such as cancer, Parkinson’s, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and multiple sclerosis. Research projects related to human cloning are explicitly excluded.

Mission & Vision
