About the funder

The Thuringian LEADER Networking Office is an institution of the Thuringian State Office for Agriculture and Rural Areas and serves as a service and advisory center for all stakeholders of the EU funding program LEADER in Thuringia. It accompanies and supports the Regional Action Groups in all phases of project development, implementation, and follow-up. Its tasks include providing information on funding requirements, organizing networking and training events, as well as supplying documents and applications for the application process. Furthermore, it promotes the exchange of best practices and strengthens cooperation between municipalities, associations, businesses, and other local actors in rural areas.

Mission & Vision

The office of the Thuringian LEADER Networking Agency aims to promote the sustainable development of rural regions in Thuringia. Through transparent, collaborative, and professionally sound advice, we seek to strengthen local innovation capacity and expand regional networks. We believe in the diversity and potential of rural areas and are committed to ensuring that creative and forward-looking projects are realized, contributing to the enhancement of quality of life and competitiveness of the regions.

Target groups

The services of the Thuringian LEADER Networking Office are primarily aimed at the Regional Action Groups within the framework of the LEADER program, as well as municipal administrations, associations, initiatives, agricultural enterprises, companies, and other interested parties in the rural areas of Thuringia. It supports all actors who plan and implement innovative projects to strengthen regional value creation, cultural diversity, and ecological sustainability.
