Hospiz Stiftung für den Landkreis Gifhorn
About the funder
The Hospice Foundation for the Gifhorn District is a non-profit foundation established in 2013 to realize the construction, maintenance, and operation of an inpatient hospice with 8–12 beds as well as the adjacent palliative care center in Gifhorn. Due to limited reimbursements from health insurance providers, the foundation relies on ongoing donations to close funding gaps and ensure the upkeep of the facility. Furthermore, it supports the Palliative Network Gifhorn e. V. and the Outpatient Hospice Work Gifhorn e. V. to guarantee comprehensive care for seriously ill patients and their families.
