About the funder

The State Office for Road Construction and Transport (LASuV) is the central specialist authority of the Free State of Saxony responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance, and administration of the state and federal road network. With its headquarters in Dresden and five regional branches, LASuV connects districts, independent cities, and municipalities to ensure a safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly transport infrastructure. Core tasks include, in addition to conventional road and bridge construction, the promotion of municipal construction authorities, the development of the cycling network, the operation and expansion of public transport, as well as the monitoring of traffic regulations.
