About the funder
The muTiger Foundation was established on July 7, 2011, by the KÖTTER Group and the Rhine-Ruhr Transport Association (VRR). Its primary goal is to strengthen civil courage and willingness to help within society. The foundation offers educational and awareness-raising measures as well as training in violence prevention. A special focus is placed on empowering each individual personally to courageously stand up for themselves and others in public. Since its inception, the foundation has trained over 11,000 participants in nearly 800 courses, including 4,230 students. The foundation collaborates with more than 50 partners who support it financially, in kind, or through volunteer work.

Mission & Vision
The muTiger Foundation is committed to ensuring that people learn civil courage and are able to act appropriately in critical situations. The foundation believes that every individual has the ability to be courageous and take responsibility to promote safety and freedom in society. Through theoretical and practical training, the participants' action competencies are to be strengthened in order to act effectively and safely in emergency situations.
Target groups
The target group of the muTiger Foundation includes all citizens who wish to learn how to demonstrate civil courage in everyday life. Special emphasis is placed on students, companies, schools, institutions, and clubs that can participate in closed group events. The foundation offers both in-person and online courses, which can be tailored individually to the needs of the participants. The goal is to strengthen the sense of security in society and empower people to act courageously and responsibly in critical situations.
