About the funder
The OeAD, Austria's Agency for Education and Internationalization, is a non-profit limited liability company owned by the Republic of Austria. The owner’s representative is the Federal Ministry for Women, Science and Research (BMFWF). The programs and measures of the OeAD are primarily funded by the BMFWF, BMB, BKA, BMWKMS, ADA, as well as the European Commission. The OeAD supports national and international mobility, educational and research projects, promotes school, university, and scientific cooperation, as well as scholarship and funding programs.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to promote international cooperation in the fields of education and research. We facilitate exchange and networking among pupils, students, teachers, and researchers. OeAD is committed to strengthening the quality and diversity of education in Austria and worldwide through targeted funding programs.
Target groups
OeAD directs its offerings to educational institutions (schools, universities), teachers, students, researchers, and scientists from all disciplines, as well as to cultural and civil society actors. Furthermore, regional offices in Graz, Innsbruck, Linz, Salzburg, and Vienna benefit from students and scholarship holders planning a stay in Austria.
