Parchimer Bürgerstiftung

The Parchimer Bürgerstiftung is a non-profit foundation based in Parchim that supports, develops, and honors civic engagement in all areas of social life. Under the motto "We make projects possible!" it funds projects in culture, youth and elderly care, education and upbringing, nature and environment, as well as initiatives to strengthen the common good. Through financial grants (funding rate up to 50%, maximum €500) and organizational support, it enables sustainable projects that enrich community life in Parchim.

The Parchim Citizens' Foundation is committed to civic competence and life opportunities in Parchim. It promotes a positive sense of community, equal opportunities, and a sense of responsibility among children and youth, actively involves families, and honors voluntary engagement. Through the coordination of existing services and long-term projects, it aims to shape sustainable urban development and build connecting bridges between people and institutions.

The foundation is aimed at citizens of Parchim, associations, initiatives, and organizations that wish to implement projects oriented towards the common good in the fields of culture, youth and elderly care, education, environment, and social infrastructure. Funding is provided to individuals, projects, and groups that contribute sustainably with their ideas to the quality of life and community spirit in Parchim.
