About the funder

The Senate Department for Labour, Social Affairs, Equality, Integration, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination (SenASGIVA) is a supreme state authority of the State of Berlin. It is responsible for the policy areas of labour and vocational education, social security, equality between women and men, integration of people with a migration background, anti-discrimination, and diversity in administration and society. The authority develops and coordinates funding programs, services, and advisory offerings for citizens, companies, initiatives, and social organizations in Berlin. In doing so, it works across departments with other Senate administrations, district offices, civil society organizations, and educational institutions to promote equal opportunities, social participation, and an inclusive society.
