About the funder

The Foundation of Sparkasse SoestWerl for the Promotion of Youth and Sports was established in 1999 by Sparkasse Hellweg-Lippe and operates as a non-profit organization supporting projects within the Sparkasse's business area. It utilizes the income from the foundation's assets to promote youth and sports initiatives that are financially disadvantaged. Since its inception, more than 794 projects have been supported with funding totaling over 415,000 euros. The funding purposes include, among others, the provision of equipment for kindergartens, youth centers, youth groups, and sports clubs—particularly in youth, grassroots, and amateur competitive sports.

Mission & Vision

The foundation is committed to enabling young people in Soest, Werl, and Lippstadt to have the best possible access to sports and recreational activities. Through sustainable capital investment, it strengthens local charitable engagement by supporting projects that create opportunities for children and youth, promote community, and sustainably advance athletic development.

Target groups

Non-profit institutions, clubs, initiatives, and youth groups within the business area of Sparkasse Hellweg-Lippe (Soest, Lippstadt, Werl) are supported. Applicant organizations must be active in the field of child and youth work as well as recreational or amateur competitive sports and submit projects that provide a sustainable added value for the social and athletic development of young people.
