About the funder
The "Gutes Tun" Foundation is a legally recognized foundation under civil law, based in Unna. Under the umbrella of Sparkasse UnnaKamen, it manages an endowment fund that is invested to generate returns. The proceeds, as well as donations, are allocated 100% to projects in the regions of Fröndenberg, Holzwickede, and Kamen. The foundation supports child and youth welfare, disadvantaged individuals, local heritage preservation and monument protection, art and culture, environmental and nature conservation, as well as sports. Through unbureaucratic assistance in emergency situations and the promotion of community cohesion on site, it strengthens the local community.

Companies, foundation fund founders, and private individuals who wish to actively do good in their local area as donors or benefactors can also participate in the foundation. The programs are aimed at all those who want to implement a social, cultural, or ecological cause locally.
