The Stiftung Pro Sport Düsseldorf was founded in 1996 with the purpose of promoting and further developing youth elite sports in the state capital Düsseldorf. It supports talented young athletes from Düsseldorf sports clubs on their path to elite sports, in both Olympic and Paralympic disciplines. Key activities include: the award "Düsseldorf Junior Athlete of the Year" with financial scholarships; the "Junior Elite Team" program offering individual financial support as well as advice on sports and educational matters; Paralympic support in cooperation with the state capital Düsseldorf. The foundation works closely with clubs and local partners to provide young athletes with long-term prospects in the sports city of Düsseldorf.

Mission & Vision
We support and accompany talented young athletes from Düsseldorf on their path to elite sports. Through financial assistance, individual counseling, and a comprehensive support program, we create optimal conditions for their athletic success and the development of personal skills such as perseverance, team spirit, and self-responsibility. We believe in the exemplary role of elite athletes for the entire city and are committed to strengthening Düsseldorf as a sports city in a sustainable way.
