Description

The AMIF-M 2.3 – Preparatory Measures for Labor Market Integration specifically supports projects in Vienna that promote the rapid self-sufficiency of long-term resident third-country nationals. The focus is on subject-specific language acquisition, career orientation, mentoring, and tailored pre-qualification and vocational training measures. Legal entities (companies, public institutions, non-profit organizations, educational institutions) with a project volume of at least €100,000 up to a maximum of €5 million are eligible for funding. The AMIF co-financing rate amounts to 75% (in special cases up to 90% according to Regulation 2021/1147). Eligible costs include personnel expenses, material and travel costs, as well as subcontracting. VAT, financing and real estate costs, representation expenses, and alcoholic beverages are considered non-eligible expenditures.

Applicants participate in public calls and submit complete documentation (project description, financing plan, proof of legal form, CVs of key personnel, cooperation agreements) within the deadline. Proof of the project location in Vienna and affiliation with the target group (including persons with refugee or subsidiary protection status) is required. Evaluation criteria include professional content, target group relevance, efficient use of funds, and degree of innovation. The funding measure is ongoing; applications can be submitted at any time (application deadline and project start from 01/01/2022, valid indefinitely).
