Description
The funding measure "Ability-Oriented Activity" in Upper Austria is aimed at sponsoring organizations from the non-profit, public, and commercial sectors and supports them through ongoing subsidies for the establishment of structured day care for people with physical, intellectual, psychological, or multiple disabilities. The goal is to enable equitable participation in the work process as well as social life through ability-oriented and meaningful fields of activity. With a direct focus on care, competence development, personality promotion, basic provision, communication, leisure activities, as well as medical-therapeutic and psychological services, the funding contributes to sustainable integration and self-determination.
The measure comprises three service forms: ability-oriented activity for people with physical, intellectual, and multiple disabilities, ability-oriented activity for persons with psychological impairments, and integrative employment within inclusive operational structures. The range of services is divided into direct and indirect areas and includes client-related, pedagogical-planning, organizational, and conceptual services. Essential indirect services such as conceptual planning, pedagogical-planning, and organizational activities ensure the quality and efficiency of service implementation. Regular quality controls in accordance with §29 Oö. ChG as amended guarantee compliance with professional and economic standards. A prerequisite for funding is recognition as a sponsoring organization pursuant to §27 Oö. ChG as amended and the conclusion of a service contract according to §30 Oö. ChG as amended. Applications can be submitted at any time without limitation since 05.11.2013; reporting and accounting are carried out in accordance with regional legal requirements.
