Description

The program Employee Promotion – General Support Measures in Burgenland supports companies, interest groups, associations, non-profit organizations, as well as public institutions in the creation and operation of forward-looking training facilities. The focus is on the establishment and operation of training workshops, apprentice residences, boarding schools, and training centers that can also be used for inter-company or supra-company qualification. Additionally, measures implemented by employee and employer organizations in the field of vocational schooling, retraining, and further education are supported. Last but not least, providers of housing for employees receive support to optimally accommodate the workforce locally and to strengthen regional skilled labor development.

The funding is granted as a subsidy and requires an evaluation by the Employee Promotion Advisory Board. Eligible applicants include companies, interest groups or other associations, non-profit organizations, as well as public institutions based in Burgenland. The funding areas cover training & further education as well as infrastructure & urban development. Applications can be submitted continuously before the planned measures commence. Eligible expenses include both the construction and the ongoing operation of training workshops, apprentice residences, boarding schools, training centers, as well as employee housing. A detailed project description and a transparent cost breakdown must be attached to the application. The exact amount of the grant is determined by the state government based on the professional evaluation.
