Description
AusbildungsFIT supports nationwide sponsoring organizations that promote adolescents and young adults with deficits in social skills and basic cultural techniques. Non-profit associations, educational institutions, companies, interest groups, and public institutions that enable the individual catch-up of fundamental basic competencies are funded. The goal is the sustainable integration of participants into further education and the labor market to reduce youth unemployment in the long term. Funding is provided as an ongoing grant and covers measures that combine practical work in projects and external businesses, socio-pedagogical and psychological support in individual and group counseling, and individually supported learning.
A prerequisite for funding is the provision of the support offer for adolescents and young adults as well as the deployment of pedagogically qualified staff. Applications can be submitted from October 1, 2019, until the total volume of 1.13 million euros is exhausted. The legal basis is § 4 of the Vocational Training Obligation Act. AusbildungsFIT enables sponsors to open access to further education for disadvantaged young people and thus create prospects for a successful professional future.
