Funding is provided for basic services in women's shelters and child protection facilities as well as interventions and preventive counseling programs. The goal is to support affected individuals in acute emergencies free of charge, anonymously, and through qualified professionals. The thematic focuses include social issues, women's promotion, children and youth, as well as labor & social affairs, in order to strengthen holistic support structures for vulnerable groups and promote long-term coping strategies.
Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, as well as public institutions with headquarters or primary activity in Styria. An application includes a brief description of the activity or project and culminates in the conclusion of a funding agreement. Proof of professional qualification and economic viability must be provided. For requested amounts exceeding €15,000, a detailed concept must be submitted as an additional annex. A prerequisite for disbursement is the complete financing basis of the project. Applications can be submitted continuously, enabling flexible implementation and prompt funding approval.
