Basic Funding of the Innovations and Technology Transfer Salzburg GmbH (ITG)

Basic funding supports Innovations- and Technology-Transfer Salzburg GmbH (ITG) in fulfilling the tasks set out in the articles of association within the business areas of innovation and technology transfer, media and creative industries, and innovation consulting. As ongoing grant funding from the State of Salzburg, it ensures the continuous implementation of research results into economic applications and promotes creative projects in the media sector. This strengthens innovative impulses, expands regional competitiveness, and builds sustainable networks between science, business, and culture.

Only the public-law institution itself is eligible for funding and enters into an annual financing agreement with the State of Salzburg. In addition, for the business area of innovation consulting, there is a permanent service and financing agreement. Disbursement is made in accordance with the agreed performance records and annual financial statements, as well as the management reports to the advisory boards. This funding creates transparent planning bases that strengthen ITG Salzburg in its role as the central innovation agency of the federal state in the long term.
