Core Funding "Salzburger Agrar Marketing"

The basic funding "Salzburger Agrar Marketing" supports the strengthening of the rural economy in the state of Salzburg as a permanent grant. The funding contribution aims to secure jobs in Salzburg's agriculture and forestry sectors in the long term by creating and enhancing coordinated marketing measures. The primary focus is on maintaining the image of regional food brands: consumers are to be made aware of the value of local products and their sales promoted. At the same time, by initiating and coordinating campaigns, access to information about direct marketers is facilitated, and awareness of the cultural and ecological significance of traditional farming is heightened. With the basic funding, the Salzburger Agrar Marketing association contributes to the further development of a strong and sustainable agricultural economy in Salzburg.

Funding is exclusively provided to the non-profit association Salzburger Agrar Marketing as a legally registered representative body. A prerequisite is the conclusion of a funding agreement with the state of Salzburg and the submission of all relevant documents: annual report of the previous calendar year, statutes as proof of the association’s structure, budget for the current fiscal year including financial statements, detailed financing plan with total costs and in-kind contributions, as well as a written declaration permitting inspection of accounting records and data protection compliance. Applications can be submitted continuously, as the deadline is unlimited. Based on this documentation, funding is granted in the public interest to sustainably strengthen the agricultural value chain in Salzburg and to promote the competitiveness of local enterprises.
