Contributions to recognized and other rescue organizations

With ongoing funding from the Rescue Fund of the State of Vorarlberg and the municipalities, the expenses of rescue organizations operating within the state are specifically supported. The fund, financed 60% by the state and 40% by the municipalities, ensures a sustainable execution of tasks in the rescue services. On this basis, recognized organizations such as the Austrian Red Cross (Vorarlberg Regional Association), the Austrian Mountain Rescue Service, and the Austrian Water Rescue Vorarlberg, as well as other non-profit associations, can apply for financial relief for their operations. This funding creates a stable foundation to provide rescue services across the region at a high-quality level and to continuously further develop them.

All rescue organizations with a connection to the state of Vorarlberg that wish to cover their expenses for materials, personnel, and logistics in rescue services are eligible. Applications are accepted at any time and do not require a fixed deadline, allowing for flexible planning. A prerequisite for the grant is activity in the field of rescue services in Vorarlberg and formal recognition by the state authorities or municipal associations. The disbursing authority is the Office of the Vorarlberg State Government, Department of Internal Affairs and Security (Ia).
