Description
The state of Burgenland offers, through the State Youth Department, a subsidy for the transportation of school classes to the Education and Career Information Fair BIBI in Oberwart. Educational institutions in Burgenland can claim a subsidy covering 100% of the incurred bus costs. This measure aims to provide young people with barrier-free access to career and educational orientation opportunities and thus supports the fields of education, children and youth, vocational training & further education, as well as labor & social affairs. By fully covering travel expenses, participation in the BIBI fair is facilitated and extracurricular career orientation is promoted.
Applications must be submitted after the fair and require the presentation of the original invoice as well as proof of payment. An online funding application can be submitted no later than 30.11.2025. Eligible expenses include exclusively the bus costs for the outbound and return trips. Required documents are the completed online form, the invoice, and proof of payment. This funding enables educational institutions to offer students and interested young people an uncomplicated and cost-effective visit to the fair, thereby sustainably strengthening their career prospects.
