Description

Within the framework of the EAFRD funding program 2023–2027, nature conservation-related projects in the regions of Tyrol and Vienna are financially supported. The goal is the national implementation of the CAP Strategic Plan in the field of nature conservation, focusing on investments for the preservation, restoration, and improvement of natural heritage, cross-border cooperation, as well as comprehensive knowledge transfer. Eligible for funding are agricultural enterprises, nature conservation authorities, non-profit organizations, research institutions, and other stakeholders interested in environmental and climate protection measures. Grants may cover, for example, investments in protective infrastructure, awareness and training measures, consulting services, as well as the preparation of plans and studies. Innovative approaches that align with biodiversity and sustainability objectives are also considered in the evaluation, as is compliance with the Tyrolean nature conservation priorities and the CAP selection criteria version 4.0.

Applications are submitted via the Digital Funding Platform (DFP) of Agrarmarkt Austria following prior registration and in compliance with the special guideline for LE project funding nature conservation Tyrol. Funding applications must meet project-specific requirements and be submitted using the appropriate forms. Important documents include a detailed project description, the completed AMA information sheets, and a confirmation according to the regional guideline. Submission deadlines correspond to the cut-off dates announced on the platform, valid from 01.02.2023 to 31.12.2027. Transparent selection is carried out based on established evaluation criteria to ensure consistent funding of forward-looking nature conservation projects. Interested project sponsors receive all relevant information and documents via the AMA’s DFP.
