Description
The wage subsidy is aimed at employers in Vienna who employ employees with disabilities who are recognized as beneficiaries under § 14 BEinstG and whose work capacity is limited due to the disability. The goal of this direct funding is the sustainable securing of a fully social insurance-obligated employment relationship as well as equal participation in the labor market. Applications can be submitted at any time; continuous approval allows for predictable support. The funding provides financial compensation for disability-related reduced performance and thus strengthens the motivation of companies to offer inclusive jobs in the long term.
Eligible costs include wage costs and social security contributions, with up to 50% of the assessment basis being covered. The maximum funding amount corresponds to three times the compensation rate per month, granted over a period of up to 24 months. A prerequisite is an employment relationship existing for at least seven months (with exceptions for hardship cases), proof of reduced performance, and uninterrupted social insurance-obligated employment status. To apply, the completed form, the recognition notice, payroll documents, and a medical or company certificate of the performance limitation must be submitted. The decision is made taking into account the degree of disability, the proven reduced performance, and the risk to the job. Through this targeted support, companies are sustainably relieved and people with disabilities are integrated into the labor market in the long term.
