Description
The state program “ESF – Part-time Vocational Training – Supporting Entry – Opening Perspectives (TEP)” in North Rhine-Westphalia is aimed at public institutions, companies, interest groups, and associations that initiate and support part-time vocational training for parents and caregiving relatives. Measures to initiate recognized part-time training according to BBiG, HWO, the Elderly Care Act, and the Nursing Act are funded. The program is co-financed with funds from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the European Social Fund and provides a non-repayable grant over a project period of up to twelve months. Eligible expenses include personnel costs for coaching, qualification, and individual support as well as material costs for coordination and information. Applications can be submitted continuously before the start of the measure; implementation begins from January 1, 2025.
TEP opens up new perspectives for mothers, fathers with at least one child living in the household, and caregiving relatives for (re-)entry into employment. The program supports the search for suitable training positions, accompanies participants during the qualification and preparation phase as well as in the first months of training, and simultaneously offers advice and information for training companies. The goal is long-term integration into the labor market and the promotion of family-friendly training concepts. Applications are to be submitted in accordance with the ESF funding guideline 2021–2027 prior to the start of the measure through municipalities, districts, public institutions, companies, or associations/clubs. All details on requirements, forms, and funding guidelines are available from the Arnsberg District Government.
