Description

The nationwide funding and mentoring program Fast Track is aimed at motivated Ukrainians aged 18 to 40 who came to Germany as a result of the Russian war of aggression in 2022. Over a period of 14 months, participants receive support in developing their own project ideas with social impact, which they implement within their communities. A diverse range of in-person and online qualification seminars, digital workshop meetings, and excursions impart skills in self-organization, communication, and project management within the new cultural context. Experienced trainers and mentors provide individual guidance to participants and open access to networks from civil society, education, and the labor market. This activates personal resources, expands professional prospects, and promotes social engagement.

Fast Track aims to sustainably strengthen the social participation of young Ukrainians and intensify cooperation between the host society and the Ukrainian diaspora. Participants benefit from regular networking meetings, advisory and expert exchange formats, as well as a mentor pool of over 1,000 experts. Through close exchange, viable project structures are created that contribute not only to personal development but also enrich democratic culture and social cohesion in Germany. The support is provided ideationally through counseling, mentoring, and networking and includes travel, accommodation, and meal expenses. Fast Track thus offers a unique platform to develop leadership potential and set positive impulses for the Ukrainian community nationwide.
