The aim of the funding is to increase family-friendliness in Tyrol and to improve the compatibility of work and family life by supporting childcare services during school holidays that take into account the time-related needs and wishes of parents.

Funding requirements
- The offer must be provided during the school holidays for at least two weeks and at least 40 hours per week and must include a daily lunch service
- Supervised children must be between 3 and 14 years old and have their primary residence in Tyrol
- Group size must include at least 10 children
- At least one pedagogically qualified caregiver must be provided for every 8 children
- Caregivers must be of legal age and physically and personally suitable for the activity

Description
The holiday program Play-with-me-Weeks in Tyrol is aimed at non-profit organizations, cooperatives, interest groups, associations, and public institutions active in the fields of social affairs, children and youth, as well as labor & social services. As a direct grant, the funding targets non-profit care services for children aged 3 to 14 years with primary residence in Tyrol and their parents. The program serves to enhance family-friendliness in the federal state and supports the reconciliation of work and family during school holidays. The funding period extends until 31.12.2027.
A prerequisite for the subsidy is a care program lasting at least two weeks with a presence time of at least 40 hours per week, including a daily lunch service. For every eight children cared for, a pedagogically qualified caregiver must be employed, who is of legal age and physically as well as personally suitable for the activity; the group size must be at least ten participants. The premises and sanitary facilities used must be child-appropriate, publicly accessible, and adequate for the group size. The content design of the Play-with-me-Weeks should be pedagogically sophisticated. Funding applications must be submitted electronically to the Department of Society and Labor before the desired funding period begins. The application must include a detailed project description, a cost and financing plan (including annual financing), proof of already applied for or granted funding, and, in the case of first-time applications, the relevant registry excerpts and statutes. No costs are incurred for the application process.
