Description
The Dr.-Ing. August and Rosemarie Albers Foundation advocates for relatives who care for dependent persons with or without disabilities at home. The goal of the nationwide funding program is to provide relief and social participation for caregiving relatives. Funds from the foundation’s assets are used to create a break for relaxation, cultural, or sporting activities. The initiative is based on Christian charity and cooperates closely with the Caritas Association Freiburg-Stadt e. V. to ensure reliable administration of the funding benefits. Interested private individuals receive 100% cost coverage through the program, thereby receiving tailored support in organizing care replacement.
Expenditures for short-term care, bridging care, as well as holiday and short-notice care replacements are funded. The prerequisite is the unpaid care or supervision of a dependent person in one’s own household. This is a non-repayable grant that can be applied for continuously – applications are possible at any time. The uncomplicated funding allows the use of available places in recognized facilities or the commissioning of qualified care professionals. This measure provides caregivers with urgently needed free time and helps reduce burdens while sustainably enhancing the well-being of all involved.
