Funding Guidelines of the HuManS Foundation

The funding guideline of the HuManS Foundation enables a continuous nationwide funding process for non-profit organizations, public institutions, and, in exceptional cases, also private individuals. The foundation supports projects that offer disadvantaged people assistance for self-help, promote social participation, and strengthen social cohesion through dialogue-oriented formats. The focus is on thematic areas such as social issues, commitment to democracy, education, child and youth development, as well as vocational training and further education. Applications can be submitted at any time and are awarded in the form of grants. Eligible for funding are those who provide proof of non-profit status or a corresponding concept for the use of funds, include a detailed project description with clearly defined goals and measures, and present a transparent cost and financing plan.

The HuManS Foundation’s program aims to improve the life opportunities of disadvantaged children, adolescents, and adults and to strengthen dialogue-oriented competencies in a pluralistic society. Supported are, among others, events that bring together people of different cultural or political backgrounds, educational initiatives for communication, as well as cultural and sporting activities that promote tolerance and understanding. Selection is based on the quality and scope of the project, alignment with the foundation’s objectives, and efficient use of funds. Proof of use and regular reports on the project status are mandatory. This transparent structure ensures that the provided funds are used purposefully and promote sustainable cohesion in society.
