Description
Since its founding in December 2007, the Alison and Peter Klein Foundation has been supporting innovative projects in the Eberdingen region that address socially relevant topics in the fields of education, culture, sports, environmental/nature conservation, and training & further education. Its foundation purpose is to assist people in need and to sustainably improve the quality of life in the region. The foundation places a particular emphasis on supporting institutions active in youth care, disability care, and elderly care—an engagement that strengthens social cohesion in the region. Cultural initiatives, scientific projects, as well as measures in energy efficiency and climate protection are also supported with grants to promote regional development sustainably.
The funding measure is aimed at non-profit organizations and public institutions from the region that implement innovative projects in the aforementioned funding areas. Through continuous grants, the foundation offers lasting support that enables applicants to plan and execute their projects in the long term. An important criterion is regional affiliation—applicants must come from Eberdingen or the neighboring districts. With this concept, projects engaged in youth care, disability assistance, elderly care, culture, education, science, and sports are specifically promoted, thereby making a valuable contribution to strengthening the community.
The foundation is committed to providing a significant impetus for regional development through financial grants. In addition to direct support for institutions addressing the needs of disadvantaged groups, the funding also represents an important component for interreligious dialogue and cultural exchange. This comprehensive support enables the realization of innovative and sustainable projects that enrich the social infrastructure and cultural life in the region. The ongoing funding opportunity ensures that future project ideas and new concepts also have the chance to be realized through the financial support of the Alison and Peter Klein Foundation. In this way, a stable foundation for social innovation and regional progress is created.
