Funding of the Bürgerstiftung Gärtringen (Grants in Gärtringen)

The Bürgerstiftung Gärtringen continuously awards grants from capital income and donations to support charitable projects in the municipality of Gärtringen (Baden-Württemberg). The goal is to establish a lived "culture of helping" and to sustainably strengthen civic engagement. Eligible to apply are non-profit organizations, associations, initiatives, as well as individuals who have their registered office or sphere of activity in Gärtringen and implement projects with a social, cultural, or educational focus. Funding areas include, among others, support for volunteer activities, youth and elderly care, education, art and monument preservation, as well as public health care and international understanding.

The foundation provides funds exclusively from income and donations, whereby applicants must demonstrate the non-profit status of their project. With the initial foundation capital of €50,000 and current assets of over €235,000, the Bürgerstiftung annually supports a variety of projects that strengthen social cohesion and enrich the common good locally. Thanks to the continuous grant allocation process, funding can be accessed flexibly and according to needs. This commitment is aimed at all those who engage in the community of Gärtringen and wish to set sustainable impulses in the areas of volunteering, youth promotion, social affairs, culture, or infrastructure.
