Funding of the Lauda-Königshofen Citizens' Foundation (Project Funding/Grants)

The Bürgerstiftung Lauda-Königshofen continuously supports creative and charitable engagement throughout the Lauda-Königshofen region and its districts. Private individuals, non-profit organizations, companies, public institutions, as well as start-ups, may submit an informal application for project funding at any time. The submitted documents – consisting of the funding application, project description, financing plan, and final report – are reviewed and evaluated by the board in close coordination with the foundation council. Particular emphasis is placed on the level of innovation, sustainability aspects, and compliance with the foundation’s statutes. The range of funded topics extends from education, science, and research to healthcare, environmental and nature conservation, as well as art, culture, and monument preservation.

With the aim of strengthening social cohesion and supporting sustainable development of the community, the foundation recognizes projects in the areas of democracy promotion, youth and senior work, addiction prevention, as well as homeland and traditional customs preservation. Eligible to apply are initiatives based or with project locations in Lauda-Königshofen and its districts that pursue charitable, benevolent, or public purposes. The straightforward submission via the provided form allows for individual project design to realize locally effective ideas. Through transparent and continuous grant allocation, sustainable impulses are generated that benefit the entire community and strengthen regional engagement in the long term.
