Funding of the Nidderau Community Foundation (Project Funding)

The Bürgerstiftung Nidderau continuously supports non-profit initiatives in the Hessen region with the aim of strengthening local projects that promote the social, cultural, and ecological common good in Nidderau. Eligible for funding are, in addition to associations, interest groups, and public institutions, also private individuals and companies that contribute their commitment in the areas of education, environmental and nature conservation, child and youth support, vocational training and further education, as well as social cohesion/democracy. With a one-time grant, the foundation creates room for innovative projects that benefit the districts of Heldenbergen, Windecken, Ostheim, Eichen, and Erbstadt and sustainably enhance the quality of life locally. The funding decision is made transparently based on submitted documents and the assessment of the common good impact.

Project applications can be submitted at any time, provided that the project is based in Nidderau and meets the common good criteria of the funding guidelines. The following documents are required for application submission: a completed funding application, a grant declaration, a detailed project description, and a comprehensive financing plan. All forms and guidelines are available in digital form via the foundation’s download portal. Interested stakeholders are invited to present their projects in a structured manner, thereby effectively enriching the local community. Prompt processing enables timely funding approvals and lays the foundation for sustainable civic engagement in Nidderau.
