Description

Since 2017, the IB Foundation has been supporting non-profit organizations, public institutions, educational providers, interest groups, and associations nationwide with financial grants for social, educational, and inclusive initiatives. It funds projects that provide people of different backgrounds, age groups, or life situations with long-term prospects and strengthen social cohesion. The foundation operates across denominations and political affiliations, allocating funds where sustainable impact is achieved—whether in educational offerings, commitment to democracy, or health initiatives.

Examples of supported programs include those for children and youth, seniors, people with disabilities, as well as refugees and migrants, aimed at improving their participation and quality of life. Applications can be submitted continuously, allowing flexible planning and rapid implementation of new projects. Key funding criteria include the social impact of the initiative, sustainability aspects, and the consistent application of inclusion and diversity principles. This results in a funding portfolio that not only achieves short-term effects but also contributes to the long-term removal of barriers and revitalizes civic engagement in diverse ways.
