Description
Purpose of Funding and Target Group
The funding program "Support for Youth Work" of the State of Upper Austria is aimed at non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, as well as public institutions represented in the Upper Austrian State Youth Council. The goal is the basic financing of annual programs as well as covering ongoing material and personnel expenses. Furthermore, local groups, projects, and events are supported that contribute to democratic participation, social cohesion, and the development of young people. Applications can be submitted continuously, with the first quarter of the year recommended as the formal submission period to ensure planned activities can be implemented on time.
Scope of Funding and Application Requirements
Expenses for the basic financing of youth organizations, material and personnel costs, as well as targeted support for local groups are eligible for funding. A prerequisite is the full acceptance of the general funding guidelines of the State of Upper Austria as well as the funding principles of the Youth Department. Additionally, the funding application must be submitted at least two months before the start of the respective activity. Required application documents include: a fully completed and signed online form, a financing plan, a project description, and a current excerpt from the association register. Processing is carried out according to state guidelines, and approved grant amounts are documented in the transparency database.
