Description

The Mindener Foundation for Children is committed in North Rhine-Westphalia to children, adolescents, and families facing challenging social or financial circumstances. As a Protestant foundation within the Minden church district, it supports projects and individual cases in the field of youth and family assistance to sustainably promote equal opportunities, education, and personal development. Educational institutions, interest groups, other associations, as well as private individuals based in or operating within the Minden region may apply for funding in the form of grants. Special consideration is given to initiatives that implement creative, inclusion-oriented offerings in the areas of children and youth, social affairs, education, as well as vocational training and further education.

Funding applications can be submitted continuously: institutions use the corresponding application form, while a separate form is available for individual support of children in need. The foundation board makes decisions twice a year based on a thorough review of all submitted documents. A prerequisite is that the project or assistance measure can be assigned to the field of youth and family assistance and contributes to improving the living situation. The foundation informs applicants in writing about the funding amount and approval conditions. In doing so, it opens sustainable prospects for personal and educational development on site.
