Description
In the federal state of Lower Austria, a continuously available grant offers intangible consulting as well as material financial contributions for events and cultural buildings. The program is aimed at cultural initiatives, associations, municipalities, and residents or project locations in Lower Austria. The goal is the sustainable strengthening of the regional cultural scene through professional support from the Department of Art and Culture and the four cultural networking centers. Monthly on-site information days enable direct exchange with staff from the state administration. In parallel, the state of Lower Austria supports infrastructural projects as well as artistic events with government subsidies to revitalize cultural diversity in rural regions.
Applicants must demonstrate a contribution to the objectives of the Lower Austria Cultural Promotion Act as well as the regional cultural concept and provide evidence of their own contributions and third-party funding. Application documents include the completed application form, a project budget or calculation, the current association register excerpt or the ZVR number, and a concise project description. Submissions have been continuously possible since 01.01.2014 and do not require adherence to any deadlines during the year. Through the combination of free consulting and financial support, this offer opens up diverse opportunities to realize cultural projects in Lower Austria and sustainably promote regional community life.
