Funding of Stadtwerke Rotenburg (Wümme) GmbH Foundation for the Promotion of Sports and Youth Work

The Foundation for the Promotion of Sports and Youth Work of the Rotenburg (Wümme) Municipal Utilities is committed to the sustainable development of sporting, cultural, social, and ecological initiatives in the Rotenburg (Wümme) region. The focus is on projects that actively involve children and young people, strengthen civic engagement, and promote social cohesion. Through its broad support of sports clubs, non-profit organizations, and municipal institutions, the foundation contributes to enhancing quality of life and setting sustainable impulses for environmental and climate protection. Eligible for funding are registered associations, interest groups, and public-law entities with headquarters or project implementation in Rotenburg (Wümme). A prerequisite is the non-profit status of the applying organization as well as a project idea from the fields of sports, youth work, culture, social affairs, or ecology. Funding is granted in the form of subsidies; applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis. Through uncomplicated and continuous application procedures, the foundation offers flexible support for diverse initiatives. The jury, composed of experts from the foundation, reviews the submitted concepts based on their social value, degree of innovation, and regional benefit. The goal is to promote sustainable and inclusive projects that strengthen cohesion in the region in the long term and positively support the development of young people.
