Funding of the Lebens(t)räume Foundation

Non-profit organizations and private individuals based in Hesse benefit from ongoing grant funding that specifically focuses on the areas of children and youth, families, seniors, musical initiatives, as well as social support services. The basis for this is membership in the Protestant parish of Niedernhausen and approval by the church council. The funding supports, in addition to personnel costs for work with young people and families, also projects in the cultural environment – from choirs and music groups to intergenerational leisure activities. Furthermore, the Friendship Fund enables tailored assistance for needy parish members to cushion unforeseen emergencies.

Applications can be submitted at any time and undergo a structured approval process by the church council. Eligible funding purposes particularly include personnel positions in child and youth work, musical projects, senior citizen offerings, as well as social measures within the parish. The flexible allocation of funds from private and church donations opens up an expanded scope for parish activities. The Lebens(t)räume Foundation thus sustainably strengthens social and cultural cohesion and contributes to creating spaces for community, creativity, and care in the Christ Church Niedernhausen.
