Description
Since 2004, the Helga and Erwin Hartl University Foundation has been supporting innovative, interdisciplinary projects at the University of Regensburg with a focus on oncology, pediatric rheumatology, and bioethics. The foundation's goal is to strengthen excellent research initiatives through financial support for doctoral theses, habilitations, and training measures for researchers. Furthermore, relevant conferences, symposia, and other scientific events are funded to intensify interdisciplinary exchange between departments and to introduce new impulses in the aforementioned fields.
Eligible applicants are exclusively professors and private lecturers at the University of Regensburg. Applications can be submitted continuously via the university’s online application form, for which valid login credentials (username and password) are required. One-time grants are awarded as funding, the amount of which depends on the nature and scope of the planned project. Apart from the fully completed online form, no additional documents need to be submitted for the application. The internal university processing ensures timely decisions and transparent allocation of funds.
