Previous projects include strengthening the Freie Realschule We!tsicht, awarding Germany scholarships to students of RWTH Aachen, Hochschule Niederrhein, and Hochschule Rhein-Waal, as well as promoting sports programs for children and youth. With an endowment of approximately €850,000 (as of the end of 2024) and an annual funding volume of around €21,000, the foundation aims for effective support of young people and values long-term collaboration with non-profit clubs and initiatives.

Currently, no new applications are being accepted, as all available funds are already committed to existing partnerships. A public announcement will be made as soon as funding requests can be submitted again. In addition to professional quality, the foundation places special emphasis on voluntary engagement and a healthy sense of community when allocating funds. Schools, universities, sports clubs, and initiatives committed to democratic participation and social cohesion particularly benefit from the funding areas of education & training, culture & media, as well as work & social affairs. Responsibly led by the founder Norbert Dewender, the foundation is supervised by the District Government of Düsseldorf and the Tax Office of Geldern and pursues exclusively non-profit purposes in accordance with its statutes.
