Description
The Educational Premium Heat Pump supports sanitary-heating-climate, refrigeration, and air conditioning companies based in North Rhine-Westphalia that are members of a local Chamber of Crafts in qualifying technical managers and employees responsible for planning. Funding is provided for participation in advanced training courses according to VDI 4645-1:2023-04 "Heating systems with electrically driven heat pumps in single-family and multi-family houses – Planning, installation, operation" or comparable training. The objective is to impart comprehensive knowledge in preliminary investigation and concept development, detailed planning including system component dimensioning, cost assessment, commissioning, operator instruction, and documentation. Applications can be submitted via the funding portal until June 30, 2027, subject to available budgetary funds. Essential funding guidelines, VAT notices, and De-minimis declarations must be submitted with the application and proof of use.
Funding is granted as a flat-rate subsidy of €500 per successfully completed training day, up to a maximum of €1,500 per employee. The calculation basis is the invoiced training costs; a cost estimate or offer, invoice, certificate of participation, and proof of employment must be presented. Objections to funding decisions are handled according to the provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act of North Rhine-Westphalia. The Arnsberg District Government reviews the applications and issues funding notices; only thereafter may the measure be commissioned. Upon completion of the training, the grant is claimed via the electronic application portal. Timely and proper documentation ensures the appropriate use of funds and prevents repayment claims.
