Description
The Karl & Traudel Bueb Foundation supports non-profit educational institutions in the greater Munich and Freiburg areas in implementing innovative projects for children and youth. The focus is on concepts that are situated outside conventional learning paths and enable experimental exploration of knowledge through creative approaches. Over a period of up to twelve months, members of the board personally accompany each initiative to observe progress and reflect together with all participants. The final evaluation by project sponsors and participants ensures that particularly effective models are identified and can be further developed in the long term.
Eligible projects are those conducted in cooperation with non-profit schools, youth centers, associations, or similar organizations—support for individuals is excluded. Applications can be submitted at any time by sending the completed project funding application (PDF) by mail or email; an informal preliminary inquiry may be used in advance for coordination. Key selection criteria include the innovativeness of the planned activities, active supervision by board members, and the consistent involvement of all participants in the evaluation process. Support is provided in the form of a grant to enable creative educational projects and to promote exchange within a strong network.
